Amanda Brown is an Australian composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. She was the violinist of Australian indie rock band The Go-Betweens: recorded on their studio albums, Tallulah and 16 Lovers Lane. Brown has also worked as a session musician and, since 2000, as a screen music composer.

Wayne Connolly is a Sydney based performer and music producer.

Usually found at a mixing console or out front of the sonically intimidating Knievel, he brings his acoustic solo show juggernaut to The Midnight Special.

Wayne is lead singer of Sydney band Knievel and was also a founding member of The Welcome Mat. He has performed at times with several other bands including Tactics, Apartments and Fragile.

As a studio producer, he has worked with the likes of The Vines, Josh Pike, Babe Rainbow, Hoodoo Gurus, Paper Kites, Julia Jacklin, You Am I, Youth Group and Cloud Control.
