LACHLAN BRYAN with ALAN FLETCHER

Lachlan has traveled the world this year with his two bands - The Wildes and The Pleasures - playing around fifty shows and festivals across Scandinavia, the UK, the USA and of course here at home. For this show he's armed with a bunch of new songs, all the old favourites and maybe even a drunken piano bar encore. Joining him will be great friend and Americana Oracle Alan Fletcher.

Alan Fletcher may be best known for his 30 year stint as Dr Karl on the TV series Neighbours, but it’s his love of Americana music that brings him to The Midnight Special.

For the past two years Alan has been working with producers Lachlan Bryan and Damian Cafarella on an album of original songs, inspired by his heroes such as John Prine and Guy Clark.

His songs are heartfelt and often witty, and he delivers them with the warmth and charisma you’d expect of a veteran performer. Alan recently completed a string of sold-out dates across the UK and will be returning there to launch the album in early 2023.
