On July 6th Jordan Wilson & Daniel Forsyth co-launch their latest musical offerings ‘Newcastle’ & ‘Mila Mila’ at The Midnight Special in Newtown for an intimate and collaborative affair. Doors are at 8pm.

After several formidable years honing his craft in beloved duo Georgia FairJordan Wilson steps into his own. Homeric in proportion, ‘Newcastle’ documents a journey to the aforementioned city that the protagonist never made. Like Paul Kelly at his best, Wilson taps into the subconscious of the Australian psyche and takes the heavy subject matter of manhood, alcoholism and masculinity head on.

Daniel Forsyth is a bit of a rascal, a bit of a dreamer, and a bit of an artist. These things might all be the same thing, but there’s really no way to test it yet. His full name is ‘Daniel Lee Kendall’ Forsyth. Daniel Lee Kendall did some pretty cool things in the musical sphere, one of which was performing on Triple J’s iconic segment ‘Like a Version’. Unfortunately, Daniel Forsyth killed Daniel Lee Kendall, the details of which would be the equivalent of listening to Vogon poetry. If you don’t know what that means, read The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy. Not that it’s a favourite book of Daniel’s, he just happened to read it the other week.
