Meteor Infant is the songwriting project of Gomeroi guitarist Liam Keenan. With roots in regional NSW, Keenan has developed a distinct song-craft shaped by the layered experience of memory, geography and ancestral connection to country. 

New album 'Pilliga Circumstance' references the Pilliga Nature Reserve in regional NSW, which is the largest remaining native forest on the Australian continent, and a significant cultural site for Keenan’s Gomeroi people. Drawing from a lineage of outliers such as Gastr Del Sol, Six Organs of Admittance and Elliott Smith, Keenan has refined a unique approach to guitar composition.
